Isolux studies sale of power transmission lines in Peru and India

Isolux Corsán, a Spain-based construction and concessions company, is said to be in talks to sell its power transmission lines in Peru and India, reported El Economista on 15 June, 2016. According to the report, the company, which announced in May 2016 it would sell its networks in Brazil (see related intel), aims to add the assets of the three countries to get the necessary funds and pay off approximately EUR 800m of its debt. Isolux has already received bids and is currently studying the sale of the assets, the report stated. In India, it is in talks with a renowned local family, according to market sources. Meanwhile, in Peru, where the project is under development (seeking funding), the company is also in open talks and some of the potential bidders could be Spain-based Ferrovial (BME:FER) or Red Eléctrica de España (BME:REE).

Isolux Corsán, empresa española del sector de construcción y concesiones, estaría negociando la venta de sus líneas de transmisión eléctrica en Perú e India, según ha informado El Economista el 15 de junio de 2016. La firma española, que anunció en mayo de 2016 que se desprendería de sus redes en Brasil (ver Intel relacionado), tiene como objetivo sumar los activos de estos tres países para conseguir los fondos necesarios y así amortizar cerca de EUR 800m de su deuda. Es así como la firma ya ha recibido propuestas y se encuentra en estudio la venta de estos activos. En India, mantiene una negociación con una reconocida familia local, según señalan fuentes del mercado. Mientras, en Perú, en donde el proyecto se encuentra en fase de desarrollo (búsqueda de financiación), la firma también tiene negociaciones abiertas y surgen nombres de potenciales interesados como las españolas Ferrovial (BME: FER) o Red Eléctrica de España (BME: REE). |
