Isolux Corsán, based in Madrid, Spain, is said to be in talks to sell its energy transmission lines in Brazil to State Grid Corporation of China - SGCC, a Beijing-based state-owned distributor, reported Reuters on 10 August 2016. According to the report, the assets put on the block are projects such as a transmission line in the northern region, which connects the Tucuruí plant to the cities of Macapá, in the state of Amapá, and Manaus, in Amazonas.
