Sweden-based Ikea, a manufacturer and retailer of home decoration products, entered Paraguay through Mueblería Sueca, as published by La Nación on 2 December 2015. The company, which will be the distributor for South America, will have 3,000 furniture units with Ikea brand and a showroom in Asunción. Furthermore, Muebelría Sueca is studying the possibility of becoming the official representative as Ikea Paraguay, once it wins the local market.

La sueca Ikea, dedicada a la fabricación y venta de productos para la decoración del hogar, ha llegado a Paraguay de la mano de Mueblería Sueca, según ha informado La Nación el 2 de diciembre de 2015. La empresa, que sería la distribuidora oficial para Sudamérica, tendrá 3.000 unidades de muebles de la marca sueca en un showroom ubicado en Asunción. De igual forma, la empresa paraguaya estudia la posibilidad de lograr la representación oficial como Ikea Paraguay, una vez ganado el mercado local. |
