Spanish airline Iberia is analyzing a possible joint venture agreement with a relevant partner in the sector, aiming to improve and strengthening its position in the South Atlantic routes, as published by Cinco Dias on 25 August 2015. This model is already part of holding company IAG: Iberia has a North Atlantic pact with British Airways, which was later joined by American Airlines and Finnair, which promotes codeshare operations, strengthens positions in more competitive schedules and shares costs with others with less demand. The final result is shared income.

La aerolínea española Iberia está analizando la firma de un acuerdo de joint venture con un socio relevante del sector con el fin de mejorar y reforzar su posicionamiento en las rutas operadas en el Atlántico Sur, según ha publicado Cinco Días en una nota del 25 de agosto de 2015. El modelo funciona ya en el seno del holding IAG: Iberia cuenta con un pacto para el Atlántico Norte con British Airways, al que posteriormente se sumaron American Airlines y Finnair, por el que se incentivan las operaciones de código compartido, se refuerzan posiciones en los horarios más competitivos y comparten costes en otros de menor demanda. El resultado final es el reparto de ingresos. |
