Hydro-Québec, a Canada-based hydropower company, is interested in particiáting in the tender of a transmission line in Mexico, reported CNN Expansión on 29 June, 2016, citing Mexican secretary of energy, Pedro Joaquín Coldwell. Specifically, the transmission line will be built through a public-private partnership (PPP) and will be the first to be developed under this model. Coldwell noted the line will run from Tehuantepec to the center of the country and will require USD 1.2bn in investment. The official added Hydro-Québec has the necessary technology to build the transmission line and has developed a similar one between Quebec and Boston, in the United States.

Hydro-Québec, gestora canadiense de energía hidroeléctrica, ha mostrado interés en participar de la licitación de una línea de transmisión en México, ha publicado CNN Expansión el 29 de junio de 2016, citando al secretario mexicano de energía, Pedro Joaquín Coldwell. En concreto, la línea de transmisión se construirá mediante una asociación público privada (APP) y será la primera en ser desarrollada con este modelo. Coldwell ha señalado que la línea correrá desde Tehuantepec hacia el centro del país y requerirá una inversión de USD 1.200m. El funcionario ha agregado que Hydro-Québec cuenta con la tecnología necesaria para construir la línea de transmisión y han desarrollado una similar entre Quebec y Boston, en Estados Unidos. |
