Hospital Bandeirantes, based in São Paulo, and Hospital Leforte, also based in São Paulo, have become non-profit organizations instead of a philanthropic institution since the beginning of September 2015, as published by Valor Econômico on 18 September 2015. According to the news, with this change it is possible for two hospitals in the same group to receive foreign investment. These hospitals are owned by the Medeiros family, and will now be controlled through a company that in turn is controlled by the philanthropic institution.

O Hospital Bandeirantes, com sede em São Paulo, e o Hospital Leforte, também com sede em São Paulo, deixaram de ser instituições filantrópicas e passaram a ser instituições com fins lucrativos desde o começo de setembro, segundo publicou o Valor Econômico em 18 de setembro de 2015. De acordo com a notícia, a mudança abre espaço para que os dois hospitais, que pertencem ao mesmo grupo, recebam investimento estrangeiro. Os hospitais pertencem a família Medeiros, que agora, terá o controle por meio de uma sociedade que por sua vez será controlada pela entidade filantrópica. |
