HRT raised BRL 87m to invest in Campo Polvo and new acquisitions

HRT has been studying the acquisition of new oil felds (see related radar), and raised some BRL 87m, from a total of BRL 90m available, in its first debentures issuance. According to company's CFO, Ricardo Bottas, these resources (issuance of convertible debentures into common shares) will be used to invest in wells located on Polvo fields or acquisition of new production assets, which should generate income from the first day. HRT is looking in all possibilities in Brazil for land and sea fields, oil and gas, said Bottas, who rules out new investment in Solimões Basin in Namibia, next year.

A HRT que já vem estudando adquirir novos campos de petróleo (Ver Radar relacionado), acabou de captar cerca de BRL 87m, num total de BRL 90m disponibilizados, em sua primeira emissão de debêntures no mercado. Segundo o diretor financeiro, Ricardo Bottas, esse capital (da emissão de debêntures conversíveis em ações ordinárias) está carimbado para uso em investimento em poços de desenvolvimento no campo de Polvo ou aquisições de novos ativos de produção que gerem caixa para a empresa já no primeiro dia. A empresa está prospectando no Brasil e olhando tudo, campos em terra e no mar, de gás ou de óleo, comentou o executivo, que descarta novos investimentos na Bacia do Solimões e na Namíbia no ano que vem. |
