At a Shareholders Meeting, 59% of NH Hotel Group (BME: NHH), stakeholders have voted to expel China-based HNA Group from the Board of Directors, as published by the company through a relevant fact and a press release submitted to Securities Commission CNM on June 21, 2016. Specifically, four directors have been removed and have been replaced by: Paul Daniel Johnson, Fernando Lacadena, José María Cantero and Maria Grecna. In addition, the Board has decided to not re-elect Federico J. Gonzalez Tejera as CEO of NH Hotel Group. On the other hand, Alfredo Fernández Agras was appointed as Chairman of the Board, Vice President of the Executive Committee and co-chairman of the company along with José Antonio Castro.

El 59% de los accionistas de NH Hotel Group (BME: NHH) han determinado expulsar del Consejo de Administración a la compañía china HNA Group, según un hecho relevante y una nota de prensa remitidos por NH Hotel Group a la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores el 21 de junio de 2016. En concreto, han sido destituidos cuatro consejeros, que ya han sido reemplazados por: Paul Daniel Johnson, Fernando Lacadena, José María Cantero y María Grecna. Asimismo, el Consejo de Administración ha decidido no reelegir a Federico J. González Tejera como consejero delegado de NH Hotel Group. Por su parte, Alfredo Fernández Agras ha sido designado presidente del Consejo de Administración, vicepresidente de la Comisión Delegada, así como copresidente de la compañía junto con José Antonio Castro. |
