Grupo Yildirim, an industrial construction company based in Istanbul, is planning to sell between a 20% and 30% stake in Tertir, as published by newspaper Negócios on 21 April 2016, citing its president, Robert Yuksel Yildirim.

The Turkish group hired JP Morgan Chase & Co as an adviser in this process. It is promoting a roadshow, jointly with investors in London and Amsterdam, and estimates to conclude the operation in six months. Robert Yuksel Yildirim said the group is negotiating with Canadian and US-based pension funds, whose identities were not disclosed.

With the resources from the sale, the group plans to invest in terminals in the United States and Latin America. Some of the potential targets are US-based Ports America Holdings, held by Oaktree Capital Group, and some Latin American ports, including Equador, said Yildirim's president.

O Grupo Yildirim, empresa com sede em Istambul, que atua no setor de construção e industrial, pretende alienar entre 20% e 30% da Tertir, segundo publicou o jornal de Negócios no dia 21 de Abril de 2016, citando o presidente da Yildirim, Robert Yuksel Yildirim.

O grupo turco, que escolheu o JP Morgan Chase & Co para o assessorar neste processo, e que está já a promover um "roadshow" junto de investidores, em Londres e Amesterdão, estima concluir a operação em seis meses. O presidente da Yildirim revelou que o grupo está em negociação com fundos de pensões canadenses e norte-americanos cujos nomes não foram revelados.

O encaixe com a venda de até 30% da Tertir tem em vista o investimento em terminais nos Estados Unidos e na América Latina. Entre os alvos potenciais estão a norte-americana Ports America Holdings, que é controlada pela Oaktree Capital Group, e alguns portos latino-americanos, incluindo o Equador, declarou o presidente da Yildirim.

O Grupo Yildirim adquiriu a Tertir, que era detida pela portuguesa Mota-Engil, em setembro de 2015 (ver transação relacionada).
