Grupo Villar Mir, a Spain-based holding, decided to put on the block a minority stake in Complejo Canalejas, reported El Confidencial on 22 September 2016, citing company members. The aim is to transfer 40% of the project for approximately EUR 300m, although there is the possibility of raising the percentage to 49.9%. According to sources familiar with the transaction, some of the funds interested in the deal are Lone Star, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), and TH Real Estate. Grupo Villar Mir noted the process of analysis of the bids will culminate in October.

Grupo Villar Mir, holding español, ha decidido iniciar la venta de una participación minoritaria en el Complejo Canalejas, según ha informado El Confidencial el 22 de septiembre de 2016, basándose en declaraciones de miembros de la compañía. La intención es traspasar un 40% del proyecto por aproximadamente EUR 300m, aunque existe la posibilidad de elevar este porcentaje hasta el 49,9%. Según fuentes cercanas a la operación, algunos de los fondos interesados en esta operación podrían ser: Lone Star, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) y TH Real Estate.
