Chile-based Grupo Torre, a manufacturer and commercializer of school products, announced its interest in expanding its operations to Guatemala, Panama and El Salvador, as reported by newspaper Diario Financiero on 7 December 2015, citing its CEO, Cristián Mex.

The company wants to add educational products segment as a new business line, which would go directly to the operations in Central America, and it expects to continue its expansion in the area.

Besides Chile, Grupo Torre is also present in Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador.

La chilena Grupo Torre, empresa dedicada a la fabricación y comercialización de productos escolares y de oficina, ha manifestado su interés de incorporar sus operaciones en Guatemala, Panamá y El Salvador, según ha informado Diario Financiero el 7 de diciembre de 2015, citando al gerente general de la compañía, Cristián Mex.

La compañía, que espera seguir su expansión por Centroamérica, quiere sumar el mercado de contenidos escolares como un nuevo segmento de negocio, que llegaría directamente a la operación en estos países.

Además de Chile, Grupo Torre también está presente en Honduras, México, Paraguay, Colombia, Perú, Bolivia y Ecuador.
