Chilean supermarket chain Grupo SMU is analyzing th possibility of retaining Mayorsa, because it considers the business a profitable and high potential business. For this reason, these assets could be removed from its list of sales which also includes Construmart. Grupo SMU put these assets up for sale aiming to improve its balance sheets and create a stronger financial structure able to compete in the retail market.

La cadena de supermercados chilena Grupo SMU estaría evaluando quedarse con Mayorsa, por considerar que es un negocio rentable y con alto potencial. Por ello, podría quitarla de su lista de activos en venta entre los que también se encuentra Construmart. Grupo SMU puso a la venta sus activos con el objetivo de mejorar sus balances y conseguir una estructura financiera más fuerte para competir en el mercado de retail. |
