Dionísio Pestana, president of Grupo Pestana, admitted his interest in the largest hotel chain in Portugal with 14 Tivoli units, held by Grupo Espírito Santo International, through Rioforte Portugal, a subsidiary of Rio Forte holding, which manages all the non-financial assets and one of the non-financial assets that the Group has up for sale. Dionísio Pestana revealed the acquisition offer was made through a partnership with US-based and UK-based investment funds, which will carry out the financial investment. Grupo Pestana would be in charge of hotel management of the 14 units. Dionísio Pestana admits that if deal materializes Tivoli brand should be maintained.

Dionísio Pestana, presidente do Grupo Pestana, admitiu o interesse da maior cadeia hoteleira do país nas 14 unidades Tivoli, detidas pelo grupo Espírito Santo International, através da Rioforte Portugal, subsidiária da Rio Forte holding encarregada da gestão dos activos não financeiros e um dos activos também não financeiros que o gurpo tem à venda. Dionísio Pestana revelou que a proposta de compra é feita em parceria com fundos de investimento americanos e ingleses, que farão o investimento financeiro. Ao grupo Pestana caberia a gestão das 14 unidades hoteleiras. A concretizar-se a operação, Dionísio Pestana admite que a marca Tivoli seria para manter. |
