In addition, Grupo México denied any transaction negotiations with Club Deportivo Guadalajara's president, Germán Larrea. Grupo México, compañía dedicada a la explotación de minas, ha anunciado que descarta la posibilidad de hacerse con el equipo de fútbol Chivas del Guadalajara, con sus instalaciones deportivas o con el estadio Omnilife. Además, la empresa mexicana ha desmentido que haya habido negociaciones de tal transacción entre el presidente de la compañía, Germán Larrea, y el Club Deportivo Guadalajara.
