Grupo Gaz, a Russia-based car manufacturer, is interested in manufacturing in Cuba, Lithuania, and Venezuela, reported Diario de Cuba on 7 August, 2015. Of the countries, Venezuela is the least likely destination in the short term, declared the company’s press officer, Oleg Deripaski. The decision to attain new production centers follows the 26% reduction in Gaz’s car sales in Russia in early 2015. The company is also considering setting up its production in Vietnam.

El fabricante de coches ruso Grupo Gaz se ha mostrado interesado en producir sus vehículos en Cuba, Lituania y Venezuela, según ha informado Diario de Cuba el 7 de agosto de 2015. De los candidatos, Venezuela es el menos probable a corto plazo, dijo el jefe de prensa de la compañía, Oleg Deripaski. El interés en conseguir nuevos centros de producción está relacionado con la reducción en un 26% de las ventas de los automóviles Gaz en Rusia en los primeros meses de 2015. Otro de los proyectos que estudia la empresa está relacionado con localizar producción en Vietnam. |
