Spanish Minister of Economy, Luis de Guindos, ruled out the sale of Bankia through Banking Restructuring Fund FROB before October, which is when the results of the bank stress tests will be revealed, as published by Expansión on 24 August 2015. According Guindo,"after October we will have a much clearer and clarified picture, not only of the Spanish banking or Bankia, but of all European banks." The IMF ruled out the possibility of carrying out this deal within the established period by the Government. (See related Intel).

El ministro de economía español, Luis de Guindos, ha descartado la venta de Bankia por parte del Fondo de Reestructuración Ordenada Bancaria (FROB) antes de octubre, fecha en que se conocerán los resultados de los test de estrés de la banca, según ha publicado Expansión el 24 de agosto de 2015. Según de Guindo, "después de octubre tendremos un panorama mucho más claro y clarificado, no sólo de la banca española o de Bankia, sino del conjunto de la banca europea". El FMI ya descartó la posibilidad de que se llevase a cabo esta operación dentro del plazo previsto por el Gobierno. (Ver Intel relacionado). |
