Government of Sao Tome and Principe is negotiating with France-based Malongo the privatization of Monte Café, as published by Sapo 24 Horas on 14 June 2016, citing the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Teodorico Campos. According to the news, Monte Café, was privatized by Libya-based Africa Investments & Trade Company, in a 20-year project, but it lasted little over a year and a half. It could now be acquired by France-based Malongo, a company engaged in the coffee industry. O Governo de São Tomé e Príncipe está negociando a aquisição da Monte Café pela francesa Malongo, segundo publicou o Sapo 24 de horas em 14 de junho de 2016, citando o ministro da Agricultura e Desenvolvimento Rural, Teodorico Campos. De acordo com a notícia, a Monte Café, que privatizada pela sociedade líbia, Africa Investments & Trade Company, num projeto pensado a 20 anos, mas que durou pouco mais de ano e meio, agora poderá passar para as mãos da francesa Malongo que atua no segmento de cafés. Ainda segundo a publicação, a empresa e o governo são-tomense estão negociando a assinatura de um memorando de investimentos. |
