Government of Mexico to launch second stage of Ronda 2 on 23 August

The government of Mexico will publish the terms of the second stage of the second round (Ronda 2) of oil tenders on 23 August, reported Reuters Latin America on 18 August 2016, citing spokespersons from the sector. According to the report, on that day the national hydrocarbons commission (CNH) will approve the terms and the department of energy (Sener) will officially launch the call. In the second stage of Ronda 2, Mexico will tender 12 contracts of blocks located in the Cuenca de Burgos basin and southeastern basins, the report stated.

El gobierno de México publicará las bases de la segunda fase de la Ronda 2 de licitaciones petroleras el 23 de agosto, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 18 de agosto de 2016, citando a portavoces del sector. Según lo publicado, ese día la Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos aprobará las bases y la Secretaría de Energía lanzará oficialmente la convocatoria. En la segunda fase de la Ronda 2, México licitará 12 contratos de campos ubicados en la Cuenca de Burgos y cuencas del sureste, de acuerdo con la información. |
