The government of Argentina, through regulator Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (Enacom), may have appointed a normalizing delegate to seek a new operator of Argentina-based broadcasting company Radio América, reported El Cronista on 14 July 2016.

According to the report, a government official announced the government suspended the process of transfer of Radio América and is seeking a normalizing delegate to appoint a new owner of the license. The document would be published on 15 July in Argentina's official gazette.

Starting January 2016, Radio América and newspaper Tiempo Argentino are owned by Mariano Martínez, the owner of Grupo M Deluxe (see related transaction).

El Gobierno de Argentina, mediante el Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (Enacom), habría designado un delegado normalizador para buscar un nuevo operador de la emisora argentina Radio América, según ha informado El Cronista el 14 de julio de 2016.

En concreto, un funcionario del Gobierno habría anunciado que el Gobierno ha suspendido el trámite de transferencia de Radio América y se encuentra en la búsqueda de un delegado normalizador para designar el nuevo titular de la licencia. El documento sería publicado el 15 de julio en el Boletín Oficial de Argentina.

Desde enero de 2016, Radio América y el periódico Tiempo Argentino han estado a cargo de Mariano Martínez, dueño de Grupo M Deluxe (ver transacción relacionada).
