US-based Goldman Sachs is analyzing the sale of its subsidiary CNR - Colombian Natural Resources, a Colombia-based mining company, according to United States Senate.

Goldman Sachs acquired coal mines in Colombia in 2010 and 2012, but the investments were problematic. Due to new environmental regulations, CNR has not been able to export any coal since January.

La firma financiera estadounidense Goldman Sachs analiza la venta de su filial CNR - Colombian Natural Resources, compañía con sede en Colombia y dedicada a la explotación de yacimientos mineros, según un informe del Senado de Estados Unidos.

Goldman compró minas de carbón en Colombia en el 2010 y el 2012, pero las inversiones han sido problemáticas. Debido a nuevas reglamentaciones ambientales, CNR no ha podido concretar ninguna exportación de carbón desde enero.
