Glencore (LSE:GLEN), a Switzerland-based mining company, and Origin Energy, an Australia-based oil company, could be selling 100% of its Chile-based joint venture, Energía Austral, a hydropower project developer, reported Reuters on 8 September 2016, citing sources familiar with the matter. According to the report, the sale of Energía Austral, announced since January2016 (see related intel), is advised by Standard Chartered and includes the sale of Glencore's 66% stake and Origin Energy's 34%. The sources refused to put a price on Energía Austral, which spent USD 220m in hydroelectric power projects, and noted there is no deadline to submit bids.

Glencore (LSE:GLEN), minera suiza, y Origin Energy, petrolera australiana, habrían puesto en venta su joint venture chilena, Energía Austral, dedicada al desarrollo de proyectos hidroeléctricos, ha publicado Reuters el 8 de septiembre de 2016, citando fuentes cercanas al asunto. La venta de Energía Austral, que se ha anunciado desde enero de 2016 (ver Intels relacionados), podría ser asesorada por Standard Chartered y comprende la venta del 66% de la propiedad de Glencore y el 34% de la propiedad de Origin Energy.
