According to Gentera's director of Innovation and New BusinessesJavier Fernández Cueto, the Mexican financial institution is planning an expansion strategy mainly in Peru and Guatemala. Fernández Cueto also confirmed that once they have secured growth in these markets, the company will will study the possibility of expanding to other Latin American geographies. Following Gentera's acquisition of Banco Compartamos, the company also shows interest in the financial business in Mexico. (See related transaction)

Según Javier Fernández Cueto, director de Innovación y Nuevos Negocios de Gentera, entidad financiera mexicana, la compañía tiene prevista una estrategia de expansión por el mercado peruano y guatemalteco principalmente. El directivo también ha confirmado que una vez tengan asegurado su crecimiento en dichos mercados estudiarán la posibilidad de expandirse al resto de geografías latinoamericanas.
