Gavilon's strategy in Brazil includes the acquisition of a storage infrastructure, currently outsourced. The company is swiftly moving towards a first acquisition in Brazil, whose value ranges between USD 100m and USD 150m. This deal will consolidate with another two acquisitions in other states, said Gavilon's CEO Frederico Humberg. The company has been in negotiations, since July of this year, with a regional company. Gavilon estimates concluding the business until January or February 2015. The company is also analyzing investments in a port terminal in the North of Brazil, which can reach USD 150m, and it will move 5 to 6 million tons per year.

A estratégia da Gavilon no Brasil passa pela compra de uma infraestrutura de estocagem, hoje terceirizada. A empresa está andando a passos largos numa primeira aquisição no Brasil, de cerca de USD 100m a USD 150m, que depois será consolidada com aquisições em outros estados, afirmou diretor-presidente da Gavilon do Brasil Frederico Humberg. A companhia mantém conversações desde julho deste ano com uma empresa de atuação regional e prevê concluir o negócio até janeiro ou fevereiro de 2015. A trading estuda, ainda, investimentos em um terminal portuário na Região Norte do país, que poderá absorver USD 150 m para movimentar de 5 milhões a 6 milhões de toneladas anualmente. |
