Galdana, a venture capital firm, raised EUR 250m to invest in funds tied to startups, as published by the company through a press release on 7 June 2016. Specifically, 98% of the funds were raised in Spain by some 20 successful entrepreneurs, such as family offices and institutional investors. The geographic focus of the investment will be: 75% equally divided between the United States and Europe and the remaining 25% in Asia. In its first eleven transactions, Galdana invested some EUR 100m, and plans to invest EUR 150m in 14 other startups.

Galdana, firma de venture capital, ha captado EUR 250m para invertir en fondos de start up, según ha informado la propia compañía en una nota de prensa el 7 de junio de 2016. El 98% del dinero procede de España y ha sido aportado por una veintena de emprendedores de éxito, así como family office e inversores institucionales, además de los propios gestores. El enfoque geográfico de las inversiones será principalmente del 75% a partes iguales entre Estados Unidos y Europa, y Asia el restante 25%. En sus once primeras operaciones, Galdana ha invertido unos EUR 100m, y tiene previsto inyectar los EUR 150m pendientes en otros 14 fondos de start up. |
