GED Capital, a Spain-based private equity firm, created and registered its seventh fund, called GED V España, with investment commitments for EUR 80m and a potential to achieve a size of up to EUR 150m during 1H16, announced GED Capital in a press release issued on 2 December, 2015. The new fund, which is within a buyout category, will invest a large amount of its resources in Spain-based medium-sized industrial companies undergoing international expansion. The first two or three transactions could close in the coming months.

La firma de private equity española GED Capital ha constituido y registrado su séptimo fondo, denominado GED V España, con unos compromisos de inversión por importe de EUR 80m y el objetivo de que pueda alcanzar un tamaño de hasta EUR 150m a lo largo del primer semestre de 2016, según ha señalado la propia GED Capital en una nota de prensa del 2 de diciembre de 2015. El nuevo fondo, que se enmarca dentro de la categoría Buy-Out, invertirá gran parte de sus recursos en compañías españolas industriales de tamaño medio y en pleno proceso de expansión internacional. Las dos o tres primeras operaciones podrían cerrarse en los próximos meses. |
