Private equity fund Discovery will assume until the end of July a project with two unfinished hotels and a shopping center in São Miguel (Azores). The company intends to invest EUR 11m and create 60 direct jobs. The assets are Hotel Casino in Ponta Delgada, located on avenida Marginal, and Hotel SPA das Furnas, both controlled by Asta Atlântica, in which the works have been paralyzed for many years. The shopping center is located in Calheta Pedro de Teive, close to the first of the two hotels.

O fundo de private equity Discovery, que vai assumir até ao final de Julho o projecto de dois hotéis inacabados e uma galeria comercial em São Miguel (Açores), prevê investir cerca de EUR 11m e criar 60 postos de trabalho directo. Em causa estão o Hotel Casino de Ponta Delgada, na avenida marginal da cidade, e o Hotel SPA das Furnas, ambos propriedade da Asta Atlântica, cujas obras estão paradas há anos, a que se junta ainda uma galeria comercial na Calheta Pedro de Teive, adjacente ao primeiro destes hotéis. |
