Fullgas, a Mexico-based fuel distributor, announced it postponed the launch of operations in Mexico of Texaco, a US-based fuel distributor and subsidiary of Chevron (NYSE:CVX), reported Forbes México on 13 March 2017, citing Fullgas Operations Director Jesús Montoya. Texaco, which announced in October 2016 its plan to enter Mexico partnered with FullGas in 2H17 (see related intel), confirmed the launch of operations has not been discarded and added it will happen in the months following the announced date. The company recalled it will invest USD 7.6m in the opening of eight stations, which are already under construction.

FullGas, distribuidora de combustible con sede en México, ha anunciado que pospone el inicio de operaciones en México de Texaco, distribuidora de combustible con sede en Estados Unidos y propiedad de Chevron (NYSE:CVX), según ha informado Forbes México el 13 de marzo de 2017, citando al director de Operaciones de Fullgas, Jesús Montoya. Texaco, que en octubre de 2016 ha anunciado su plan de llegar a México de la mano de FullGas en el segundo semestre del 2017 (ver Intel relacionado), ha confirmado que el desembarco no está descartado, sino que ocurrirá en los siguientes meses a la fecha anunciada. La empresa ha recordado que invertirán usd 7,6m en la apertura de ocho estaciones, que ya están en construcción. |
