FreedomPop, a Los Angeles, US-based mobile virtual network operator, announced the signing of a strategic alliance with Dish México, a Mexico-based telephone operator and communications manager, reported Reuters Latin America on 12 October 2016, citing FreedomPop Co-Founder Stephen Stokols. Specifically, Freedompop received USD 50m from LetterOne, a Luxembourg-based private equity firm, to finance a greater international growth of the company. The Mexico alliance, which is still in a planning stage, is a model for agreements in other countries to be announced in 2017.

FreedomPop, operador de telefonía móvil virtual con sede en Estados Unidos, ha anunciado la firma de una alianza estratégica con Dish México, teleoperadora y gestora de comunicaciones en el país, según ha informado Reuters América Latina el 12 de octubre de 2016, citando al co-fundador de FreedomPop, Stephen Stokols. En concreto, Freedompop ha recibido USD 50m LetterOne, firma de private equity con sede en Luxemburgo, con el objetivo de financiar un mayor crecimiento internacional de la compañía. La alianza en México, la cual se encuentra en etapa de planificación, es un modelo para acuerdos en otros países que serán anunciados en 2017. |
