The finalists that will bid to acquire 51% of Spain-based Grupo Imagina are Yunfeng Capital, a China-based private equity firm owned by Alibaba (NYSE:BABA), China-based conglomerate HNA Group (SHSE:600221) and UK-based private equity firms Advent International and Pamplona Capital, reported Expansión on 12 January 2017. The four companies will go to a second round to present new offers for Grupo Imagina, which currently holds the television rights for Spanish football. According to the report, the offers must be submitted in the coming weeks and the final buyer could be announced during 1Q17.

Las cuatro compañías pasarán a una segunda ronda para presentar nuevas ofertas por el Grupo Imagina, que actualmente cuenta con los derechos televisivos del fútbol español.
