Foreign companies interested in Mexico's wholesale electricity market

Several foreign companies are interested in participating in the tender of Mexico's wholesale electricity market, reported Bloomberg on 8 September, 2015, citing Mexico's deputy minister of energy, César Emiliano Hernández. Some of the companies are Japan-based Mitsui & Co (TSE:8031), Spain-based Iberdrola (BME:IBE), Italy-based Enel (Borsa italiana:ENEL), Colombia-based nterconexión Eléctrica - ISA (BVC:ISA), and Mexico's federal electricity commission (CFE). The government of Mexico is launching the tender in October 2015. It is expected generation operations will begin in early 2016.

Varias empresas extranjeras están interesadas en participar en la licitación del mercado mayorista de electricidad de México, ha publicado Bloomberg el 8 de septiembre de 2015, citando al subsecretario de energía mexicano, César Emiliano Hernández. Algunas de las empresas son la japonesa Mitsui & Co (TSE:8031), la española Iberdrola (BME:IBE), la italiana Enel (Borsa italiana:ENEL), la colombiana Interconexión Eléctrica - ISA (BVC:ISA), y la Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) de México. El gobierno mexicano lanzará la licitación en octubre de 2015. Se espera que las operaciones de generación comiencen a principios de 2016. |
