Según la noticia, la subsidiaria portuguesa se constituye tras haber recibido la aprobación del Banco de Portugal. La actividad de la nueva empresa será exclusivamente financiar a clientes de El Corte Inglés en Portugal, donde la empresa tiene dos centros comerciales, en Lisboa y Oporto.
