Tire manufacturers Fate, based in Buenos Aires province, Argentina, and Cooper Tire (NYSE:CTB), based in Ohio, United States, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to form an alliance and work together, announced Cooper Tire in a press release issued on 23 November, 2015. Initially, Fate will be the distributor of Cooper's branded passenger, light truck and SUV radial tires in Argentina. In the future, the companies may work jointly in tire manufacturing, offtake arrangements, and possible cooperation on research and development activities.

Las fabricantes de neumáticos Fate, con sede en la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, y Cooper Tire (NYSE:CTB), con sede en Ohio, Estados Unidos, han firmado una carta de intención para aliarse y trabajar juntas, ha anunciado Cooper Tire en una nota de prensa emitida el 23 de noviembre de 2015. En un principio, Fate será distribuidor en Argentina de los neumáticos radiales de Cooper para SUV, camionetas livianas y vehículos de pasajeros. En el futuro, las empresas podrían trabajar en conjunto en la fabricación de neumáticos, acuerdos de consumo y posibles actividades de cooperación en investigación y desarrollo. |
