Evonik Industries (ETR:EVK ), a Germany-based chemical company, announced its entry in Costa Rica, by establishing a financial services center to serve its operations in the Americas, as published by newspaper La Nación on 19 January 2016.

The company manufactures chemical components. It will begin construction of its offices and hiring staff in 1Q16. It is estimated the company will initially hire 50 employees specialized in accounting, finance and human resources.

Evonik's financial services is expected to expand and increase its staff to 100 employees by 2017.

La química alemana Evonik (ETR:EVK ) ha anunciado que llega a Costa Rica por medio de la instalación de un centro de servicios financieros para servir las operaciones de la compañía en América, según ha informado La Nación el 19 de enero de 2016.

La firma, dedicada a la fabricación de componentes químicos, iniciará la construcción de las oficinas y la contratación del personal durante el primer trimestre de 2016, y estima contratar inicialmente a 50 personas profesionales en contabilidad, finanzas y recursos humanos.

El centro de servicios financieros de Evonik espera expandirse y aumentar su nómina a unos 100 miembros para el año 2017.
