Entel (SVS: ENTEL), a Chile-based telecommunications company, registered a 59.4% increase in its net profit in the first quarter of 2016, compared with the same period last year, as published by the company through a press release on 2 May 2016. Entel has operations in Chile and Peru, and it registered a profit of USD 35.5m between January and March, and revenues of USD 681m, equivalent to a 6.6% increase compared with the same period last year. The company considers these figures are a result of its income improvement and loss decrease in its subsidiary in Peru.

Entel (SVS: ENTEL), empresa chilena dedicada a la gestión de telecomunicaciones, ha registrado un aumento interanual del 59.4% en sus utilidades netas en el primer trimestre de 2016, según ha informado la compañía en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 2 de mayo de 2016. Entel, con operaciones en Chile y Perú, ha obtenido ganancias por USD35,5m entre enero y marzo, y sus los ingresos han alcanzado un equivalente a USD 681m, con un alza interanual del 6.6%. La firma ha considerado que los resultados se deben a la mejora de sus ingresos y a las menores pérdidas de su filial en Perú. |
