Engie Energía Chile (BCS:ECL), a Santiago-based power, natural gas, and renewable energy generator and distributor, registered a profit increase of 171% in 2016, compared with the same period of 2015, announced Engie Chile in a company report issued on 1 February 2017. Specifically, the company registered profits of USD 225m in 2016 and noted the results follow the improvement of its operational profits and the sale of 50% of Transmisora Eléctrica del Norte (TEN) (see related transaction).

Engie Energía Chile (BCS: ECL), empresa dedicada a la generación y distribución de electricidad, gas natural y energía renovable, ha registrado un aumento del 171% en sus utilidades durante 2016, comparado con el mismo periodo de 2015, ha informado la compañía en un informe de cuentas publicado el 1 de febrero de 2017. En concreto, la compañía ha obtenido ganancias por USD 225m en 2016 y ha explicado que los resultados se deben a la mejora de su utilidad operacional y a la venta del 50% de las acciones de Transmisora Eléctrica del Norte (TEN) (ver transacción relacionada). |
