Chilean energy company Enersis increased its profits in the second quarter of 2015, through the acquisition of a 21.7% stake in Generandes Perú, which caused an indirect stake increase in Edegel's share capital, as reported by Gestión on 27 July 2015.

Between April and June 2015, Enersis registered a net income of USD 219.5m and EBITDA of approximately USD 814m.

La firma energética chilena Enersis ha aumentado su beneficio en el segundo trimestre del año en un 21,7% gracias a la compra de Generandes Perú que supuso un aumento indirecto de su participación en la peruana Edegel, según ha publicado Gestión en una nota del 27 de julio de 2015.

Enersis ha obtenido entre abril y junio de 2015 una utilidad neta de USD 219,5m y un EBITDA cercano a los USD 814m.
