Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM), empresa pública colombiana dedicada a dar servicios de agua, gas y electricidad, ha anunciado el cierre de su filial en Costa Rica y, en consecuencia, su salida del país, en un hecho relevante publicado por la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia el 28 de junio de 2016.

La empresa no ha aportado más información con respecto a las razones que han motivado su salida del mercado costarricense, donde había creado su filial en junio de 2014.
