A Edelman, agência estadunidense de relações públicas, e o Grupo Publicis, de comunicação e publicidade, planejam expandir negócios no Brasil, no rastro dos primeiros sinais de retomada da economia, de acordo com publicação do Valor Econômico em 20 de janeiro de 2017, que cita o fundador de Edelman, Richard Edelman, e o presidente do Grupo Publicis, Maurice Levy.

Segundo Edelman, o Brasil é uma grande oportunidade. A companhia tem interesse em fazer aquisições no país para passar de 6º lugar, no setor de relações públicas, para número dois ou três em cinco anos.

Levy destacou a satisfação com os resultados no Brasil em 2016, ainda com a situação econômica instável e diz que a prioridade é a expansão do negócio e conquista, mais do que aquisições.
