Ecopetrol (BVC:ECOPETROL; NYSE:EC; TSX:ECP), a Colombia-based state-owned oil company, announced it will take over the operation of the Rubiales oil field starting 30 June, 2016, in a press release issued on 26 October, 2015. On 30 June, 2016, the participation contracts of Riesgo Rubiales and Asociación Pirirí between Ecopetrol and Canada-based oil company Pacific Exploration & Production (TSX:PRE; BVC:PREC) will expire. Ecopetrol added it will continue working jointly with Pacific E&P, seeking to improve operations in the production areas in the Llanos Orientales region of Colombia.

Ecopetrol (BVC:ECOPETROL; NYSE:EC; TSX:ECP), petrolera estatal colombiana, ha anunciado que a partir del 30 de junio de 2016 asumirá la operación del campo petrolero Rubiales, en una nota de prensa publicada el 26 de octubre de 2015. El 30 de junio de 2016, vencerán los contratos de participación de Riesgo Rubiales y Asociación Pirirí entre Ecopetrol y la petrolera canadiense Pacific Exploration & Production (TSX:PRE; BVC:PREC). Ecopetrol ha agregado que continuará trabajando en conjunto con Pacific E&P en búsqueda de optimizar las operaciones en las áreas de producción de la región Llanos Orientales, en Colombia. |
