Ecopetrol (BVC:ECOPETROL; NYSE:EC; TSX:ECP), a Colombia-based state-owned oil company, received authorization from the council of ministers to sell 100% of Esenttia (ex Propilco), a producer of raw materials for the plastics industry, announced Ecopetrol in a press release issued on 14 June, 2016. Specifically, Ecopetrol controls the 414,649,961 common shares that make up Esenttia's equity. The oil company notes in the document that the resources from the sale will go towards financing its investment plan.

En concreto, Ecopetrol controla las 414.649.961 acciones ordinarias que conforman el capital social de Esenttia. La petrolera señala en el documento que los recursos provenientes de la venta serán utilizados para financiar su plan de inversión. |
