A total of 15 companies and consortia are currently bidding to partner with Chilean state oil company ENAP (SSE:ENAP) to develop power generation projects in the country, reported Diario Financiero in an article published on 27 May 2015.

According to ENAP CEO, Marcelo Tokman, the winnder bidder will be selected in October. Among the interested companies include Spain-based Gas Natural (BME: GAS), Japan-based Mitsui & Co. (TSE: 8031) and US-based ExxonMobil (NYSE:SOM).

Un total de 15 empresas y consorcios compiten por la posibilidad de asociarse con la petrolera estatal chilena ENAP (SSE:ENAP) con el objetivo de desarrollar proyectos de generación eléctrica en el país, según ha publicado Diario Financiero en un artículo del 27 de mayo de 2015.

Según el gerente general de la compañía, Marcelo Tokman, la resolución será en octubre. Entre las entidades interesadas destacan la española Gas Natural (BME:GAS), la japonesa Mitsui & Co. (TSE:8031) y la estadounidense ExxonMobil (NYSE:SOM).
