Duro Felguera and Elecnor México win Central Empalme II tender in Mexico

Mexico's federal electricity commission (CFE) announced the consortium comprised of Spain-based Duro Felguera (BME:MDF) and Elecnor (BMEENO), through its Mexico-based Elecnor México, won the tender for the combined cycle plant Central Empalme II, in a press release issued on 8 October, 2015. The Spain-based consortium submitted the winning bid of USD 396m, which was well under the budget set by the CFE and represented savings of over 45%. Duro Felguera is engaged in the development of turnkey projects for the energy and industrial sectors and in the manufacturing of equipments for the industry. Elecnor México is engaged in the development of engineering projects for infrastructure, renewable energies, and space.

Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) ha informado que el consorcio formado por las empresas españolas Duro Felguera (BME: MDF) y Elecnor (BME:ENO) a través de su filial Elecnor México, han ganado la licitación de la Central de ciclo combinado Empalme II, según ha publicado CFE en su web el 8 de octubre de 2015. La propuesta del consorcio español fue de USD 396m, siendo esta la mejor ya que se encontraba muy por debajo del presupuesto estimado por la CFE, lo que supone un ahorro de más del 45%. Duro Felguera es una empresa dedicada a la preparación de proyectos llave en mano para los sectores energético e industrial y a la fabricación de equipos para la industria y Elecnor México es una compañía dedicada al desarrollo de proyectos de ingeniería de infraestructuras, energías renovables y espacio. |
