France-based Decathlon, a sports clothing and equipment retailer chain, is still interested in Latin America and opened a subsidiary in Colombia, as published on website Modaes.es on 14 October 2015. In April 2015, Decathlon opened a subsidiary in Mexico ( see related intel), which strengthens is strategy in Latin America. In addition, the company appointed Michel d’Humières as its director for Decathlon in America, after leading the company in Europe for over 20 years.

La compañía francesa Decathlon, dedicada a la venta de ropa y complementos deportivos, continúa con su apuesta por el mercado latinoamericano y ha abierto una filial en Colombia, según ha publicado el portal Modaes.es el 14 de octubre de 2015. La firma deportiva ya abrió en mayo de 2015 una filial en México (ver Intel relacionado) y esta apertura supone la ratificación de su estrategia en América Latina. Además, la francesa ha nombrado a Michel d’Humières como nuevo responsable de Decathlon en América, después de liderar el grupo en España durante más de 20 años. |
