China-based Dalian Wanda announced its interest to acquire Ciudad Real Airport in Spain, as published by newspaper El Economista on 14 January 2016. Specifically, the company is interested in this asset to create a customs-free zone in the airport grounds, for export merchandise and turn the area into a logistics center between Asia, Europe and Latin America. Initially, Wanda supported Chinese investment group Tzaneen International in this transaction, the first candidate in July. (see related intel). However, the two Chinese groups could now bid separately due to their financial independence.

La china Dalian Wanda ha manifestado interés en adquirir el Aeropuerto de Ciudad Real de España, según ha informado el diario El Economista el 14 de enero de 2016. En concreto, la compañía se ha interesado en este activo para la creación en los terrenos del aeropuerto de una zona franca de mercancías dedicada a la exportación y así convertir la zona en centro logístico entre Asia, Europa y Latinoamérica. Inicialmente, Wanda ha apoyado en esta operación al grupo inversor chino Tzaneen International, primer ofertante en el mes de julio por esta infraestructura (Ver Intel relacionado). Sin embargo, los dos grupos chinos podrían pujar esta vez por separado debido a la independencia financiera de cada una de las partes. |
