DLA Piper UK (Global) appointed Juan Picón as its new world co-president and senior partner as of 1 May 2016, as reported by law firm through a press release on 3 March 2016. Juan Picón will be the first Spaniard to preside an international law firm, and will replace Sir Nigel Knowles, who leaves the firm in April to become an external consultant. DLA Piper UK (Global) is the second largest law firm, with in excess of 4,500 lawyers in 30 countries in America, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middles East.

DLA Piper UK (Global) ha nombrado co-presidente mundial y senior partner al español Juan Picón con fecha 1 de mayo de 2016, según ha informado el despacho de abogados en una nota de prensa remitida el 3 de marzo de 2016. Juan, que se convierte en el primer español en presidir un despacho de abogados internacional, sustituirá a Sir Nigel Knowles, que dejará la firma en abril y se convertirá en consultor externo. DLA Piper UK (Global) es el segundo despacho de abogados por tamaño, que cuenta con más de 4.500 abogados distribuidos en más de 30 países en América, Asia Pacífico, Europa y Oriente Medio. |
