Government of Cuba is working on attracting foreign investors aiming to have them invest and establish in different types of companies in Mariel Special Development Zone. This is the first zone was created in the island, after the approval of advantageous tax or customs policies on legal norms for the project, which shall take effect in November 2013. Some Chinese entrepreneurs showed interest in this region. Some of the foreign investments could include services and construction, as well as real estate developments.

El Gobierno cubano está apostando por la inversión extranjera y espera que se establezcan varios tipos de empresas de capital foráneo en la Zona Especial de Desarrollo en Mariel, la primera de la isla, tras aprobar ventajosas políticas tributarias o aduaneras en las normas jurídicas del proyecto, que empezarán a regir en noviembre de 2013. Algunos empresarios chinos ya han mostrado su interés por la región. Entre las inversiones extranjeras que baraja el gobierno podría comprender servicios y obras públicas y desarrollos inmobiliarios. |
