Consortium headed by Alstom (Euronext Paris: ALO), a France-based infrastructure construction company engaged in energy and transport, won the contract to supply Panama's metro infrastructure, specifically Line 2, as published by online news Central América Data on 24 September 2015. The contract is valued at USD 334m, and includes 21 trains, substations and train commanding systems. The construction of Line 2 will begin in October and should be complete by 2019.

El consorcio liderado por Alstom (Euronext Paris: ALO), empresa francesa dedicada a la construcción de infraestructuras en el ámbito de la energía y los transportes, ha conseguido el contrato para suministrar el sistema de Metro integrado de Panamá en la Línea 2, según ha publicado el medio de comunicación online Central América Data el 24 de septiembre de 2015. El contrato asciende a USD 334m e incluye 21 trenes, las subestaciones y los sistemas de comando de los trenes. Los trabajos de construcción de La Línea 2 comenzarán en octubre y se espera que esté operativa para el 2019. |
