Colombia-based Cementos Argos considers the acquisition of assets held by Switzerland-based Holcim and France-based Lafarge in Latin America, mainly Brazil and Mexico, but the transaction has not been announced. Holcim and Lafarge intend to sell three integrated cement plants and two mill stations, as well as a mixing plant in the South East of Brazil.

La colombiana Cementos Argos analiza la posibilidad de adquirir los activos que venderán las cementeras Holcim (Suiza) y Lafarge (Francia) en América Latina, especialmente los de Brasil y México, aunque aún no se ha concretado ninguna negociación. La suiza y la francesa se proponen vender tres plantas cementeras integradas y dos estaciones de molienda, así como una planta mezcladora en el sureste de Brasil.
