Colbún (BCS:COLBUN), a Chile-based power producer and distributor, expressed interest in seeking investment opportunities in Argentina, reported El Mercurio on 18 December 2016, citing Grupo Matte CEO Thomas Keller. Grupo Matte, Colbún's holding company, announced the long-term strategy of the company, whose main focus is to invest around USD 2.1bn in hydroelectric power, as well search and acquire assets in Peru and Colombia, a strategy previously raised from July 2016 (see related intel). Keller also noted Argentina is included in its expansion project, as part of Colbún's internationalization strategy.

Colbún (BCS:COLBUN), empresa chilena dedicada a la producción y distribución de energía eléctrica, ha manifestado su interés en buscar oportunidades de inversión en Argentina, según ha informado El Mercurio el 18 de diciembre de 2016, citando al gerente general del Grupo Matte, Thomas Keller. El Grupo Matte, empresa matriz de Colbún ha anunciado la estrategia de largo plazo de la empresa, cuyo eje central es invertir alrededor de USD 2.100m en hidroeléctricas, así como buscar y comprar activos en Perú y Colombia, estrategia planteada anteriormente desde julio de 2016 (ver Intels relacionados). Keller también ha manifestado que Argentina se encuentra en este proyecto de expansión, como parte de la estrategia de internacionalización de Colbún. |
