Colbún (BCS:COLBUN), a Santiago, Chile-based power producer and distributor, allocated a contract for solar energy purchase for a 15-year period to France-based Total (Euronext Paris:FP) and its US-based subsidiary, SunPower (NASDAQ:SPWR), announced Colbún in a press release issued on 26 May, 2016. Specifically, the contract stipulates the supply of 500 GWh of photovoltaic solar energy per year, through the construction of 164 MW solar plant. The winning companies participated in a tender with over 13 bidders which submitted 20 proposals. SunPower will be in charge of designing, building, operating, and maintaining the project.

Colbún (BCS:COLBUN), productora y distribuidora de energía eléctrica con sede en Santiago de Chile, ha adjudicado un contrato de compra de energía solar por 15 años a la francesa Total (Euronext Paris:FP) y su filial estadounidense, SunPower (NASDAQ:SPWR), ha anunciado Colbún en una nota de prensa publicada el 26 de mayo de 2016. En concreto, el contrato estipula el suministro de 500 GWh de energía solar fotovoltaica al año, mediante la construcción de una planta solar de 164 MW. Las empresas ganadoras han participado de una licitación con más de 13 empresas que han presentado 20 propuestas. SunPower estará a cargo de diseñar, construir, operar, y mantener el proyecto. |
